These are the only Apple headphones you’ll find on this list (that’s right — Apple owns Beats). Solo Buds are kind of shockingly good for their size. They’ve got that punchy, bass-heavy sound Beats is known for, but in a super compact, pocketable case — the smallest one they’ve ever made. I mean, these things are tiny.
Battery life is solid, too: up to 18 hours total, and if you’re in a rush, just five minutes of charging gives you an hour of playback. (Heads up: Charging cable not included, so you’ll need your own USB-C — kind of annoying.) The sound quality is way better than you’d expect at this price, thanks to dual-layer drivers that keep distortion down and clarity up. Pretty good for buds that cost less than half what AirPods do.
