In the immediate aftermath of a disappointing season, Manly are already taking action.
The Sea Eagles’ NSW Cup coach Brett Kimmorley, head of football Peter Gentle, and coaching development manager Aaron Greaves are all reportedly departing the club just days after Manly’s final home and away game of the year.
The cull means coach Kieran Foran will have a new-look operation behind him in 2027, with the Sea Eagles optimistic the team can climb the ladder.

Greaves comes from an AFL background and was brought in by sacked coach Anthony Seibold.
Kimmorley came to the club at the start of the 2026 season, and was once touted as a possible interim coach after Seibold departed.
Gentle is arguably the most surprising call. He joined Manly in 2023 and was often spotted in the coaches’ box with Foran during games this year.
The Sea Eagles lost another game by a point on Saturday to end the year in ninth spot, four points adrift of the Cowboys.
The result pulled the curtain down on a rollercoaster season, finishing with an 11-13 record, despite briefly sitting in the top four.
Manly will be left to rue the slow start to 2026 that cost Seibold his job, and a six-game losing streak that followed Luke Brooks’ ACL injury.
The Sea Eagles also finish the season with four brutal one-point losses; had they won all four, they would be hosting a home elimination final next weekend.
“That’s the difference between being there and not being there,” Foran said after the loss to the Warriors on Saturday.
The loss to the Warriors was one of the Sea Eagles gutsiest performances of 2026, despite the fact they were officially eliminated from finals contention.
