My Kitchen Rules is back on Channel 7, bringing all the sugar and spice back to the dinner table.
Celebrity chefs Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge once again lead the pack of adventurous Australian cooks stepping up to the challenge and fighting to win the $100,000 prize money.

Funeral director Angus and mate Simon from South Australia
They’re deadly serious about cooking – but these two South Australian mates are anything but in the kitchen.
Fifth-generation funeral director Angus and his best mate Simon are bringing their wicked sense of humour to MKR, with their aptly named instant restaurant Last Orders.
“The only thing we’re burying is the competition,” laughs Angus, who is determined to blitz his competitors in Australia’s favourite home cooking show.
The pair met 11 years ago working in a pub and have been mates ever since, bonding over good food, good times and plenty of laughs.
Recently engaged, Angus is a natural entertainer with a dry wit and plenty of stories, while Simon is his methodical, recipe-focused offsider.
Chalk and cheese in the kitchen, the pair are hoping their contrasting styles will be the perfect recipe for success.
Chic food stylist Jane and builder Shane from NSW
With a flair for design and dinner parties, Blue Mountains married couple, food stylist Jane and builder Shane, are ready to make their mark on MKR.
Bold, creative and always impeccably presented, the pair from NSW describe their cooking as “vibrant, passionate and packed with flavour”.
Jane, who says she’s “more of a taster than an eater”, is confident and unapologetically opinionated. She knows she can replicate any dish and plans to prove that style and substance can absolutely share a plate.
Former hairdresser turned builder Shane is the calm to Jane’s storm. Laid-back and level-headed, he knows exactly when to step in — and when to let Jane take centre stage.
Together, they are out to prove their taste in food and fashion is a cut above the rest.
Their Instant Restaurant will be as bold and beautiful as they are, with striking food, plenty of personality and a few surprises designed to turn heads and ruffle feathers.
Will Jane and Shane’s flair for fabulous food impress the competition, or will their confidence prove too hot for the kitchen?
Besties Alisha and Deanne from South Australia
Chaotic, brash and bursting with energy, best friends Alisha and Deanne don’t just enter a room – they take it over.
Expect big laughs and complete kitchen madness when the self-described “classy bogans” serve up simple, home-style dishes packed with flavour — including Alisha’s nan’s delicious sticky date pudding and Deanne’s crowd-pleasing birria tacos.
“We’re two peas in a pod. We’re both chaotic, loud, in-your-face, crazy, funny and quick-witted – and we have absolutely no filter,” Aisha said.
“We have massive personalities and are basically one brain. We always say we must have been switched at birth because we should be twins,” Deanne added.
Alisha and Deanne met at school as teenagers and have been inseparable ever since. They spend almost all their free time together, constantly “yapping”, rarely giving anyone else the chance to get a word in.
Nurses Mary and Golden from Victoria
Boisterous, spirited and full of heart, nurses Mary and Golden are ready to serve up the vibrant flavours of their Filipino heritage.
The best friends met while studying nursing in the Philippines and moved to Australia in 2004 to find a better life.
Mary believes Filipino food is underrated and deserves more attention.
“We want to show that our food is made with love. Sharing our cuisine, culture and roots on MKR is our way of thanking Australia for giving us a new home,” she said.
Golden adds: “I want Australians to experience Filipino cuisine in all its forms. Through our food, I hope they see just how hospitable, generous and caring Filipinos are.”
With Golden’s calm, grounded nature balancing Mary’s infectious energy, the pair are determined to put their heart, heritage and friendship on every plate.
